Fresh Start Class

August 7/8
The Fresh Start class is a one-time class designed specifically for those who are exploring Christ, have recently accepted Christ, or are returning to a relationship with Him.The class will focus on frequently asked questions about the decision to follow Jesus. We will also examine tools and resources that can help you grow in your faith. Register online or visit the Fresh Start Table located on the patio each weekend, or contact Paul Lewis at plewis@palmvalley.org to register for the next class.

Discover the history and mission of Palm Valley Church and how you can be a part of impacting the lives of others. We’ll answer your questions, share information on our church’s future plans, and give you the opportunity to become a member.

Class 201: Discovering Spiritual Maturity

August 15th
For those who have completed our membership class and are ready to take their next step.  We’ll look at the importance of building a strong spiritual foundation, prayer, and journaling and how this prepares us to be more effective leaders for Christ.  (Prerequisite: CLASS 101) Spiritual Growth class is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Desert Edge High School cafeteria.  Dinner and childcare is provided.

CLASS 301: Discovering Your SHAPE

August 15th
At Palm Valley, we believe that every member of our church should be engaged in serving. This is what CLASS 301 is all about. During this class, you will learn how God can use your Spiritual Gifts, your Heart (passions), your Abilities, Personality and Experiences to minister to others in need. This is discovering your SHAPE for ministry. (Prerequisite: CLASS 101 & 201) CLASS 301 is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Desert Edge High School cafeteria.  Dinner and childcare is provided.

CLASS 401: Sharing Your Faith
August 15th
In CLASS 401: Sharing Your Faith you’ll develop a personal perspective of the Gospel message, develop your personal story of how God has worked in your life and gain the confidence you need to share your story with others.

Baptism
September 25/26
If you have accepted Christ, but have not taken the important next step of baptism, we encourage you to do so after one of the weekend services on September 25/26. If you are interested in learning more about baptism, stop by the Information Table and get a Baptism Information Packet.

New Believer Growth Group
Starting August 17th
In this six-week course you’ll discover how to study the Bible (and why you can trust it), how to pray, and other topics relevant to you and others who are getting started (or re-started) in their faith. Women's Ministry Fall Kick-off
August 13th, 6:30 PM
Come join us Friday, August 13 as we kick off our women’s discipleship opportunities for this fall. This will be a great time to get connected with other women as we share dessert and are challenged to respond to our vision for women’s growth. The cost is $5. Childcare is not provided.

Worship Team Auditions
August 22nd, 1:30 PM
If you are interested in being a part of the adult Worship Team at Palm Valley, we will be having auditions Sunday, August 15th, at 1:30 PM in the Worship Center. To audition, please register online.
