| Step 1 - Getting Started Classes
|
We offer two separate tracks in the getting started step.
The New Believer track is for those who are just starting their walk with Christ. We want you to start off your journey on solid ground knowing the basics of what it means to be a follower of Christ. We offer three separate classes in this track and then upon completion, encourage you to start the new attendee track.
The New Attendee track is for people who have come to Palm Valley Church already having a relationship with Jesus Christ. The new attendee track takes people through our membership process and gives them a full sense of our mission and values.
New Believer Track
Fresh Start with God - This is a one week class which takes an overview look at what being a follower of Christ looks like. The class is designed for people who are new to their faith or are returning to it. We encourage those who complete this class to continue with the New Believers Growth Group and Baptism Class.
1st weekend of each month on Saturday at 5 p.m. or Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
Desert Edge High School
Led by Paul Lewis, Pastor to New Believers
Class cost: None
To register stop by the "Fresh Start" table on the patio before or after each service on the weekends.
New Believer Growth Group - This six-week class is designed to help you discover what’s in the Bible, how to find it, how to pray, and other issues that will help you grow in your new relationship with Christ and other believers. The next step after completion of this group is baptism, joining the church through the membership class and getting connected with other believers by joining a Home Team.

New Attendee Track
Class 101: Church Membership - Find out about the history of Palm Valley Church and even more than that how you can be a part of impacting the lives of others. We’ll answer your questions, share information on our church’s future plans, and how you may become a member if you choose.
Offered periodically throughout the year.
