Dear Friends,
All of us have had defining moments in our lives. Defining moments are decision points so unique that they change the course of our future – either positively or negatively. Our commitment to Christ was one such defining moment. The choice of a school or a career defined our future. Choosing a mate is certainly such a defining moment, as is the birth of a child. Even joining a local church like ours has defined your future.
Throughout the history of Palm Valley Church there have been defining moments. Responding by faith to those defining moments has allowed us to be a part of God’s Kingdom-building effort, as well as to witness lives being changed forever. As a church family we are now facing another defining moment as we continue to reach out to impact our area with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Seize the Moment, our stewardship and leadership campaign, is the vehicle that will launch us toward the fulfillment of God’s plan for our future. Responding to this moment will allow us to continue to provide the means of growth and outreach we believe that God has called us to. Seize the Moment is more than just raising funds and building buildings. It’s about raising our faith and continuing to build people.
The underlying theme of our campaign is: equal sacrifice, not equal giving. We cannot all contribute in the same way, but we can all give sacrificially, making us equal partners in the work God has for us. This challenges us to give sacrificially, over-and-above our regular offerings for the next three years.

…see more lives changed by the power of Christ.
I am honored to serve as your pastor and am thankful for what a loving, committed church family you are. Together let’s partner with God to seize this moment in history that He has given us!
