Our desire at Palm Valley Church is to help every person take the next step in their spiritual journey. For some, this means inviting Christ into their life and becoming a Christian, or taking beginning steps as a new believer. For others it’s diving into a personal Bible study. Each of our Core Classes is designed to help people explore and apply a specific area of spiritual growth. All classes are held bimonthly at Palm Valley Church. Childcare for Nursery through 5th grade is provided.
Class 101: Discovering Church Membership
Discover the history and mission of Palm Valley Church and how you can be a part of impacting the lives of others. We’ll answer your questions, share information on our church’s future plans, and give you the opportunity to become a member.
Class 201: Discovering Spiritual Growth
For those who have completed our membership class and are ready to take their next step. We’ll look at the importance of building a strong spiritual foundation, prayer, and journaling and how this prepares us to be more effective leaders for Christ. (Prerequisite: CLASS 101)
CLASS 301: Discovering A Servant’s Heart.
At Palm Valley, we believe that every member of our church should be engaged in serving. This is what CLASS 301 is all about. During this class, you will learn how God can use your Spiritual Gifts, your Heart (passions), your Abilities, Personality and Experiences to minister to others in need. This is discovering your SHAPE for ministry. (Prerequisite: CLASS 101 & 201)
CLASS 401: Reproducing My Faith
In CLASS 401 you’ll develop a personal perspective of the Gospel message, develop your personal story of how God has worked in your life and gain the confidence you need to share your story with others. (Prerequisite: CLASS 101, 201 & 301)
