Our Equipping U classes are designed to provide you with Bible College level classes for a fraction of the price! The Spring 2012 semester of Equipping U will begin February 1, at 7 PM at Palm Valley Church. All classes are 10 weeks long and cost $15 for textbooks and materials. Childcare is also avaialable and costs $15 per child for the full 10 weeks. Map and Directions
Apologetics II
Apologetics is the discipline of defending the Christian faith. This class is the next step after Apologetics I. Apologetics II will specifically focus on questions concerning Islam, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Mormonism.
Basic Theology
What does the Christian faith teach about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit? What do I need to know about angels, Satan and demons? What place should the Bible or church have in my life? Learn the answer to these, and other core questions, and gain a greater appreciation of a God who has done great things to bring you into a relationship with him through Jesus Christ.
How to Share Your Faith
Just a few steps and a friendly hello may be all it takes to change someone’s life – and their eternity! The good news is that it has more to do with taking a genuine interest in another person and listening to their story than it does with learning evangelism tactics and techniques. This class will equip you to walk in a totally new way of evangelism. The concepts aren’t hard, just effective.
How To Study The Bible
This interactive and practical class teaches basic to intermediate Bible study skills that will take you to a greater understanding of God’s Word and equip you for a lifetime of skillful accurate handling of Scripture.
Leadership I – Will be offered Fall 2012
This class is a must for any and all ministry coordinators and leaders as well as corporate leaders. It will cover the basic foundations of effective Biblical leadership including casting a clear vision, building a team that everyone wants to be a part of, establishing longevity in ministry, multiplying leaders and much more! This Spring we recommend taking How to Share Your Faith, How to Study The Bible, or Understanding the Bible.
Understanding the Bible
Learn and memorize a complete overview of the entire Bible including key figures, places, and main events of each Bible era. This class will make the Bible and your personal Bible study come alive in a fun and interactive way.
