Small Groups

Feel free to contact a Small Group leader directly to find out more information about their group. For information about specific groups click on one of the buttons below titled Find a Group.

There are several ways that we categorize our Small Groups. They are first designated by community or area then by the type of group. “Couples and Mixed Groups”  have a mix of married couples and singles. The general age range of each group is also listed. This is done so that you can find a group that best fits with your current life situation. There are also “Singles Groups” for single adults, “Men’s Groups”, and “Women’s Groups”. For Junior High (6th-8th grade) and High School Small Groups visit the Student Ministries web site.

Small groups use a curriculum written to correspond with the weekend message. This allows people to connect with the message at a deeper level by discussing specific action steps in a group setting.

Small Group meetings typically last for about 90 minutes. The first portion of the meeting is designed to be a social time where group members catch up on the events of the past week and new members are introduced and welcomed to the group. Next comes the study portion. The studies are designed to be interactive and discussion based. People are encouraged to share in a comfortable and safe environment. Finally, the meeting closes with prayer request and praise reports.
