The Route 66 was the classic American road trip highway. It was not just a way to get between two points on the map, the journey itself was the point.
The 66 books that make up the Bible is the journey we are taking this year. the Bible is one of the most beloved and most hated books of all time. The crazy thing is that the vast majority of the people who hold these strong opinions have never read the whole thing.
Whether you are a skeptic or sold out, we invite you to join us this year in taking the Route 66. A lot of the journey will be done on your own time. We have a reading plan for you to follow either through an app on your phone or by purchasing a One Year Bible on our Cafe. We also have several different ways for you to engage on the journey with others as well
We know that reading the Bible can be intimidating, even confusing at times. Here at Palm Valley Church, we want you to know that it’s okay to have questions! Below, you can find a form where you can ask questions as they come up during your reading.
Throughout the year, we will have workshops and classes that will help you to better understand the Bible and to deepen your daily time with God. See below for our next upcoming Route 66 opportunity:
Throughout our journey through the 66 books of the Bible, we will have weekly Small Group curriculum corresponding with that week’s reading. Below, you’ll find a link to our small group page, where we will post each week’s small group discussion guide, along with short videos that you can use as a conversation starter with friends, coworkers, or anyone else you want to share the week’s message with!
In addition to our regularly scheduled podcast episodes, Pastor Ryan will also be joining Pastor Mark in the studio to talk through important milestones in Route 66 throughout the course of the year. You can find these episodes below.
