The Route 66 was the classic American road trip highway. It was not just a way to get between two points on the map, the journey itself was the point.
The 66 books that make up the Bible is the journey we are taking this year. the Bible is one of the most beloved and most hated books of all time. The crazy thing is that the vast majority of the people who hold these strong opinions have never read the whole thing.
Whether you are a skeptic or sold out, we invite you to join us this year in taking the Route 66. A lot of the journey will be done on your own time. We have a reading plan for you to follow either through an app on your phone or by purchasing a One Year Bible on our Cafe. We also have several different ways for you to engage on the journey with others as well, available here
Along our journey through the Bible, we know it’s only natural that questions arise. Join us for our first of many pitstops along the Route 66, as we ask questions like “Why are there so many versions of the Bible? Which is correct?” “What does the Bible say about divorce?”and “Why does Jesus talk about money so much?”
It’s always a good idea to slow down and really take time to examine what you’re reading! Join our campus pastors as they park out by the lake and do that! In this pitstop, we will examine lessons from the life of David.
