November is National Adoption Awareness Month, and we want to raise awareness about the importance of supporting one of the 15,000 foster children in need of a safe family. This is the story of Tom and Marcela Irvin, a family who serves faithfully here at PVC. While they always had plans to become foster parents, they never imagined adopting any children until God worked in hearts to start growing their family. While they’ll be the first to admit that their journey certainly hasn’t been the easiest, they know their story is a testament to how worth it it is to adopt children into a family.

The Department of Child Safety, or DCS seeks to see children thrive in family environments free from abuse and neglect.
